My name is

and received a Bachelors Degree in both Elementary and Early Childhood
Education
from Missouri
Western
State University in December of 1995.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Mike and my kids Kaylee and Kaleb. I love to go hunting and sometimes fishing, when the weather is not too hot. I also LOVE to watch both of my children play sports, and especially love to root for the BULLDOGS at any sporting events I am able to attend. The things I would like to do sometime in my lifetime include taking a photography class and cooking class, learning how to ballroom dance, fly in an airplane, and travel as much of the U.S. as possible. Writing poetry is also something I like to do when I have the time, and I have even had one poem published in a book. My dream is to someday write a children's book. EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE DREAMS!!!!! Here are some of my favorite things: BOOKS: True Confessions of Charolette Doyle, Where the Red Fern Grows, Harris and Me The Old Willis Place, Heaven is for Real, and When God Winks at You T.V. SHOWS: I hate to admit it, but I like "reality shows". I also like to watch a good, inspirational movie on the Lifetime or Hallmark channels. MOVIES: Grease (Go Grease Lightening!) , The Blind Side (Inspirational) COLLECTIBLES: Family pictures/frames, candles RESTAURANTS: Olive Garden, China Garden SPORTS: Softball and Basketball SCHOOL SUBJECTS: Writing and Math FAVORITE COLORS: Any shades of blue or green RAINY DAY ACTIVITIES: Crossword puzzles, watching a good movie CLOTHING: Jeans and an over-sized T-shirt SMELLS: Clothes fresh out of the dryer, a baby smothered in lotion, rainy days ENJOYABLE THINGS: Hearing my kids giggle, watching my students succeed, being with my family, taking pictures of the world around me. MOTTOS: 1. Don't forget that as long as you have dreams you are not poor in character! 2. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you! 3. You can't succeed by watching others. Get in there and get those hands dirty! 4. When at first you don't succeed, .....try, try again! |
