TIME FOR ANDREW
By: Mary Downing Hahn
Eleven-year-old Drew
Tyler decides that instead of going to summer camp, he'd rather stay
with this 80-year-old great aunt Blythe while his parents are away in
France. He has second thoughts when they arrive at the dilapidated
old house and when he hears his great-grandfather shout that he doesn't
want Drew anywhere near him. While exploring the attic with his
aunt, Drew learns he has a namesake. They discover a photograph of
a boy who looks exactly like him and a cigar box filled with marbles
and a note, dated June 7, 1910. As the story progresses Drew and
his look-alike are involved in adventures together. Read about the
deal he makes and the adjustments made by both boys in this fantastic
time-travel story. |
