Morning Routine

MORNING ROUTINE

STUDENTS:

Each morning when students arrive, they will need to complete their "GIVE ME 5" list, but only AFTER lunch count is taken.

This list consists of the following responsibilities and does not have to be done in any certain order:

1. Unpack and hang up backpacks and coats.

2. Turn in any homework assignments

3. Sharpen pencils. Encourage them to sharpen
at least 2-3 pencils for the day.

4. Use the restroom. There are passes near the door.
They are allowed to come and go two at a time.

5. Students are to get busy reading their independent reading book.

TEACHER:
While the students are completing their "GIVE ME 5" list, you will need to place the lunch count outside the room on the clip. Someone from the office will be around to pick it up.

Then, please monitor BOTH the hallway and classroom by standing in the doorway and encouraging students to finish their "GIVE ME 5" list quickly and get seated.
