Sturgeon Announces New Superintendent

After we received the all clear from Boone County and Sturgeon Law enforcement we returned all staff and students to the building. We will release a statement with more details shortly.
Due to the building evacuation there will be no PM preschool. All students are accounted for and safe please do not crowd at the school or staging site. We will update you as we learn more.

Thank you for you patience, we have been cleared by the Boone County Sheriff Department and Sturgeon Police Department to return to our K-8 building. The district will release a statement with more information shortly.

Basketball games and Senior Night are ON for tonight at Sturgeon High School.
Due to accumulating snow and dangerous road conditions, the Sturgeon R-V School District will not be in session on Thursday, Feb. 18th. Stay safe and warm.
Based on secondary road conditions and predicted snow fall tomorrow morning the Sturgeon R-V School District will not be in session on Wed., Feb. 17th. All activities tonight, Tues. Feb 16th are also canceled. Please stay warm and safe.

Based on current road conditions, predicted frigid temps and additional snowfall this evening, the Sturgeon R-V School District will not be in session on Tuesday, February 16th. This is a traditional snow day and students are not required to check-in with their teachers.
