First grade learning about Geologist. They spent time making observations about different rocks and recording in their journals what they found.





Our 7th grade students created an "arcade" game experience for 4th/5th grade students and parents. These games centered around Newton's Laws and simple machines.

Two students from Sturgeon Elementary were chosen in the Daniel Boone Library's 36th Annual - Design a Book Cover contest
This contest helps spark interest in books and libraries.
Students are encouraged to use their imaginations and at the same time strengthen their awareness of books written for them.

Who says you can't play with your food?... when you are counting to 100! Our Kindergarten students enjoyed practicing counting to 100 as they celebrated the 100th day of school!
